Does anybody here use the InvisionFree forums?

I've just set up my Regions forums, and I'm having trouble with one aspect. I've defined all the Ranks for the forums (with Title, Post Number and Image) and I'm ready to implement them on my members.

However, the only way I've found to set each member to the Rank I want is to manually change their post counts.

Eg - to set someone as an Admiral, I have to change their post count to 1000

Surely there is another way to do this, otherwise everyone on the forums will end up with ridiculously high post counts of 100+ before the forums have even started properly!

Does this make any sense?

Yes there is a better way. They are user groups and there are also permission settings for each group. Go to the Admin panel and go under user groups. Then make them to your liking and to place someone in the user group do a member serch on the ACP and click on edit details. Hope this helps!

Or, in the administration CP you can change their user titles without changing their post counts. Just go to "Find/Edit/Suspend User" and select the user you want to change. It should be right there under the settings.
