The fact that such a show could be allowed to exist without someone actually shooting the producers in the back of the head is a sad statement on the state of American entertainment.
What's worse than that, though, is people will watch it ... and be enthralled ... and want more.
Almost makes one long for the days of gladiatoral games.

My daddy's name was Carlo. He was an immigrant from Sicily. He fought in the Belgian Congo as a mercenary, and so I have some neat pictures and a collection of Ivory carvings to remember him by.
