Seriously, what is the problem with breasts? Many people- even grown men and women- seem to be literally frightened by the very mention of them. Many consider them evil. What is the problem with them? What is so inherently evil about breasts?

guys don't wear shirts and girls flash all the time so I wasn't aware there was a problem.

There is no problem with boobs I talk about them all the time it doesn't scare people off usually it leads to intresting conversations.

Women are allowed topless in some places and they just don't want to be cause of all the guys staring at their tits.

Actually, I have been wondering the same thing. I mean, the only difference is guys have to get fat to get ons like women, and even then it is not agenst the law.
I mean, the only difference is they got milk and they are more...tries to find a good word for it.....round-like (shrugs) than guys. Is it just that we have always covered them up becouse we are tould they are sinful or what? I mean, come on.

Actually, if we got used to it, than we would not stare. At Nude Beaches (and I live near one so don't say this is not true) most men do not stare or anything becouse they are used to seeing it.

I think it's some weird Biblical thing. Adam and Eve were ashamed of their nudity when they gained knowledge. On a tangental note, John Ashcroft apparently puts a robe up over the breast of the lady justice statue in his office.

Trust me you wouldn't want that. Why? Because it would ruin the whole thrill of seeing breasts. It is only arousing to see them becasue you rarely get to see them. If girls walked around topless it would be like looking at a girl's arm or something. Thats why the Arabs keep their women wrapped up head to toe.

As for man tits. God lord if you are a man and you have man tits get yourself into the gym and do us all a favor before I have to bonk you over the head, kidnap you, and slice your man-tits off myself with a bandsaw in my parent's basement.

See, I think talking about them is an utter waste of time. What's the benefit in that? Rather, I believe it is more interesting by far to learn where they are most sensitive, and where the most pleasure can be elicited (usually the nipples), and then use that knowledge in my personal escapades.

Breasts are really annoying! If their big, which *ahem* somebody's are, they stop ya from running around, jumping, etc...!! Then people label you as lazy, and non-sporty .... *sigh*.

Ontario, Canada for one I think has laws allowing women to go topless in public if they please. There are also certain places in the US, too.

People thing it is low, dirty, disgusting. It is not. It is a beautiful thing. It's just misused. Most Americans think we're above our human urges. We are not. We are still animals, still creatures inside, no better then the Chimpanzees we evolved from.
And until anyone accepts that, we will not realize that something is wrong.

Where do you get the idea that they're evil? oO; That's a new one on me. Either that, or I'm just very sheltered, or completely surrounded by people with no morals or are completely shameless.

It's an old taboo, and it's semi-religious. It's depends where you're from, really, but most English-decended societies don't like to take about them because of the Puritan era, around the English Civil War. It was while Cromwell was in charge. Dancing and music were banned, ladies had to be dressed from the neck to the ankle, and breastfeeding was outlawed.

The social ripples grew until the victorians, by which point the legs on tables and chairs had to be covered in case they aroused men and they just went crazy. Then it all kind of fell apart, at least on this side of the Ocean. No idea what it's like in the US, but I'd think there's quite a few states which don't allow girls to run about with their tits hanging out. You lot are more religious than we are.

and topless women at beaches isn't necessarily sexy in any way, it can be, but very often it's older women, or your sister or something, and you just don't want to see...
Regardless, sure part of the thrill with breasts would go away if they weren't covered up, but purely sexually I'm pretty sure they would still be of interest to most people.

And no, breasts are not evil, although they can drive men to do evil things, but that is either because of an evil woman or the man being evil, the breasts in themselves I guess are neutral, or chaotic good (can't remember what that's like I believe chaotic and lawful and such comes first, but i haven't played any D&D based roleplaying games except for some computer rpgs, which most of the time are too sucky worth playing).

My girlfriend's breasts taste good. But I wouldn't want anyone else to see them. And neither would she.

Although i feel no thrill when i see breasts, i do have to agree with this, in a way. were every woman to go topless you would probably tire of seeing breasts all the time. However men may go topless (at least no-one seems to stop them if they do) and yet not all do (or at least not quite enough do ;) ) i don't think it's right that women should be denied the right to go topless it is their choice, and they should be treated equally to men in all respects (with sensible exceptions of course.) If women were given the right to go topless im sure some would exercise these rights during the more clement months, but i dont think it would be enough to spoil your fun.

Notice other cultures (many in Africa, Amazon, etc.) where women can freely walk topless, because the breasts are parts viewed to serve the sole purpose of breast feeding babies. ...unlike in our cultures in which it is viewed as a sexualized part of the body.

Breasts are a GOOD thing which provide more nutrience in the first part of life than ANY OTHER SUBSTANCE.

Time for equality, If men can go topless then women should be allowed to as well.

But then I don't have a problem with nudity so may be I'm just easy that way.

Girls with breasts around a B cup or above have to cover up unless they want saggy breasts from 25 years old onwards. Why do you guys think us girls bother dealing with bras (ugh, hatred).

Well, except for the Middle East.

There are a number of locales in the US where public toplessness and full nudity are legal.

San Francisco is a good example.

So far I'm hearing San Francisco, Ontario, and Norway. Three places that are, much of the year, too cold for going topless anyway.

The article I linked also says a state appellate court has ruled public nudity or toplessness to be legal in California. Public nudity and/or toplessness also been ruled legal in several other locales in the US, including all or parts of: Idaho, Ohio, Hawaii, and North Carolina, among others.

Heck, to some men, it's a real turn on to see women's hair. (Because women are forced to wear headscarves in some countries/states).

IMO, people have the right to dress how they want. But IMO, If I was a girl I would still dress decently. When I see a bum, madman, drunk, drug addict or any dodgy person walking down the road looking at my sister funny, I get on the defensive. I'm sure women do too.

Well I haven't gwapped at anyone in public because they have big breasts. Well, there was that one time, but the police were very understanding and with the restraining order and Mr Phelps helping me with my issues I'm nearly completely past it.

Montreal is another "topless OK" zone, and Vancouver has a great nude beach (Wreck Beach)...gogogo Canada!

Nudity bothers me very little. It's their body, let them do what they want with it... just don't be suprised when desperate men see you topless and try to rape you.

Good point. Also, in Ancient Mediterranean European civilisations, women routinely wore clothes that did not hide their breasts, and they had no sexual connotations in those cultures.

so true, I can't run down the stairs without a bra on cause it hurts so much. If they are causing you alot of trouble I would recommend a sports bra, they really help.
