I got arrested for spray painting once as part of my crusade to drive down property values. Actually me and my friend were just drunk and felt like spray painting satanic pentagrams on an old boarded up department store. The cops took us to the station and yelled at us a lot. I felt like I was a little kid being scolded. It was pretty stupid.

Arrested?
Once.
For littering.
But I wasn't convicted because the judge was blind and couldn't see the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against me.

Heeey, near same thing happened to me. We used to go down to this park every Friday or so (70-120 of us), and this obviously irritated the surrounding houses, so they must have set up a sting with the police.
One night, after an hour or so, Police cars came and tried to seal off all the exits, they even had a riot van there .. I don't get where so many officers came from. Most of us escaped the ordeal :D .. as usual some drunken Idiots tried to fight. It's safe to say they were arrested.

The "good" ones all involved political protests.
The "bad" one occurred during the last week of my senior year in college. The shortest version of the story: One night three friends and I climbed atop a five-story building, got really drunk (and naked), and started throwing bottles from the roof.

Whoa - the same thing happened to my crew too!
About 50-80 of us used to go down to what was the old College and just sit down on the grass and chill out; there was always drink (never spiked) and marijuana that was passed around in spliffs. The local old people didn't seem to like us, and thought we were a threat (although we were never really rowdy and never threatened anybody) and the police used to arrive every Friday night...we'd almost always escape though!
They used to bring riot vans with dogs in as well - lol...as if they don't have anything better to do...

My brother falsely called the police in a dispute and so by law they had to arrest me so no one could sue.
Apparently one time the police didn't show up in an abuse case and so the woman who was paralyzed from the man who hit her sued the police for neglect. She had called one or more times before and didn't press charges. So the Police decided to ignore her. Crying wolf they thought.
My thought the police deserved it for not doing their job and checking it out.
I had to go in a holding place for a while. Not a jail or anything.
January 11th I go to court. I should only get if the state can community service. My mom is still angry at my briother for airing our family business.

I've been in three different jails on various occasions over the years, everything from a three cell steel barred old time jail to a modern glass and concrete warehouse for humans. I can't remember all the times I've been arrested off hand, I've only actually posted bond once, the other times I've been released for lack of evidence or on my OR. I think I've only actually spent three or four nights in jail, not counting the nights spent in holding cells. I've never progressed beyond arraignment in the court system, if charges were filed they got thrown out there. So far I'm teflon, nothing sticks.

I was arrested once, about twenty five years ago for GTA, I was pissed as a fart and "borrowed" someones car (they had conveniently left the keys in the ignition). I managed to hit two walls, a few other cars and a tree before eventually getting to the main road through town, I then lost it on a bend and wrecked about twenty yards of fencing before landing on a beach (luckily the tide was out).
I would have got away with it too except I dropped my house keys which had a tag with my parents phone number on it (I was 17 at the time and still living at home).
The police caught me next morning at a friends house and charged me with about twelve different offences before hauling me to jail until my dad bailed me out.
My dad rocks by the way, I thought he'd go mad but he was more worried about my health and how the f**k I managed to walk away from such a wreck without a scratch!

I was held under a police powers act during a G-7 summit in my home city. For about six hours. For civil disobedience. I had to sign a document that disallowed me within something like 500 yards of the delegates, heads of state, their hotels, the convention centre, etc.
Everything went fine 'til these drunk and bored anarchists showed up and started setting fire to things in the middle of the intersection - and I knew a few of 'em, too - I found out later they'd all been paid to do it, by a bunch of the photographers who were all standing around bored with nothing to take pictures of.
This was many years ago, of course. It's now the G-8, after all.

Yawn my thread is boring. You have to provide details people.
My first time being cuffed and taken downtown I was 16. Was from being in a stolen vehicle.
A guy I knew from school was giving me a ride to get my car that my boyfriend took off in while I was passed out from drinking. Well he had stole his moms car (I didn't know it and he didn't think his mom would turn him in I guess). We pull up to where my car had broken down (well where my ass hole bf pushed it to after he ripped out the clutch, the dumbass couldn't drive a stick), and as soon as I got out cops come out of everywhere.
I was downtown a few hours. No arrest tho, just thought Id throw this in, because it was my first actual "run in" with the law.
----------------------------------
Then I was 17, with some friends at the Mall they were stealing shit and I was with them. Did 24hrs in jail.
And .. got a DUI 6 yrs ago after going home from a bar. Right before I left a few friends and I went out back and I smoked a big bowl of some killer ass weed.. and that sent me flyin. I never shouldve gotten behind the wheel, I couldve just gotten in the backseat of my car with keys Not in the ignition and went the hell to sleep.
I was pulled over for going too slow, cop said I was going 17mph. When I saw the blue lights I said outloud to myself "I'm about to get a f'ing DUI" there wasn't no playin it off. I've never gotten so f'd up off weed before in my life. I mean it always increased the intensity of what I had drank if I smoked it after I had been drinking a while.. but Damn!
Spent no time in jail, but it was a hell of an ordeal and quite expensive.
