Orson Welles wrote and directed Citizen Kane and was the voice of the planet eating planet in Transformers.

Likely he was a voice or some other involvement in the others, since later in his career he would take any job-including selling wine and appearing in the Muppet Movie, to finance what he wanted to do without someone looking over his shoulder all the damn time...

You're exactly 1/3 right. Eric Idle and Leonard Nimoy also did voice work for the movie.

Ah, you had deseptive phrasing, it should have been:
How are Citizen Kane, Star Trek, and Monty Python related to Transformers the Movie. Star Trek and Monty Python are only tangentially related in this instance to Citizen Kane.

They're related because you're deranged? And anyone finding Star Trek boring should be whomped in the head, I think. People not liking Star Trek...what's wrong with you?

They're all movies I've seen in my lifetime, and other than Citizen Kane now, couldn't care about anymore.
