Can somebody explain creationism to me beyond this statement?

Some sort of greater divine power created the universe and everything that exists within it.

I can't think of anything else that really goes along with the creationism theory. I'm not saying it's wrong, but what else is there to teach, minus going into a specific religion? When I say specific religion, I mean that Judiasm, Christianity, Islam and many other relgions teach that some type of divine figure created the world, and that going into the specifics of one of them and not the others would be wrong.

Basically saying that G-d created the world, and that it was not some randome, one in a gazillion chance event.

You're asking about what someone would actually do to teach creationism, not what creationism is. Here's the answer: short of actually teaching religion, they can just do their best to shed doubt on one of the best proven scientific theories of all time.

Creationism is the belief that the translation of Genesis is literally true. Adam, Eve, apple, and serpent all literal fact.

In Judaism Genesis isn't generally taught to children as it is considered an advanced study reserved for men over the age of forty. Rather than a story of Creation it is a description of the structure of Creation. Unfortunately because of the complex structure of Hebrew it is impossible to translated this directly into English. It's as easy to understand as "String Theory" and has some similarities.

Traditionally Genesis is studied by men who want to ascend to heaven through prayer. It's suppose to be dangerous though since spontaneous human combustion is an occupational habit of the practice.
