Where will mr. bin Laden be 3 yrs from now????
Who will be president of US after gwb is gone? Democrat? Republican? Man? Woman?
Will the war on terror be won at the time? If not, will there be a different approach to to the problem?
Btw, why has bin Laden not been found yet? All those resources, 'no limit to the greatness' etc. Seems as if someone is turning a blind eye.
Pray speculate. Feel free to be offended.
Happy new year!

hopefully a democrat
the brilliant thing about the war on terror is that it can't ever be won, so you always have an excuse to do dumb shit in the name of winning the war on an invisible enemy which must be destroyed for the sake of the american people
because bush doesn't give a shit about bin laden

Dead. Where $450 million dollars worth of US military hardware failed, an Israeli or Chinese assasinn found and killed the guy with a $0.40 bullet.

I very much think that's true. Bin Laden was merely very convieniant for the Bush administration, i dare say Bush cared very much shortly after 9/11 whether or not they caught him but i can't help but think that as time has gone on Bushs' attention has been caught by something shiny-er.
EDIT: Festivals post, not the one directly above

If the Democrats are going to put forth Clinton or Obama as their presidential candidate, I can already tell you that they're going to lose. America isn't ready for a black or woman president.

I think a war on terror is futile. There will always be terrorists, and they will always find some manner of escape. So yes, I think it'll be over, but only because it will prove to be even more fruitless than it already is down the road.

He's a sneaky mother fucker. What can you do?

And a happy new year to you too.

I think he will be dead. He is old, and has liver problems.

Where will Bin Laden be? In prison or dead I hope.
Will the war on terror be won? No, because it is designed to be a permanent war to replace the Cold War.
Who will be president of the USA? Preferably a sensible moderate person.

Hard to say for sure. My guess is a Democrat (50-50 shot) man, probably white, most likely Christian.

No.

Probably more and more mistrust for Muslims in general and very likely see the beginnings of national ID cards for Muslims.
Btw, why has bin Laden not been found yet?
Pres. Bush isn't interested anymore. He's still playing with his new toys in Iraq.
...it is designed to be a permanent war to replace the Cold War.
Of course. Silly me. Now, - why would anyone design a permanent war? Peace good, war bad, yes???

Bin Laden will be dead. My guess.
The next president will be a Republican, although its too far in advance to tell for sure. It really depends on how the economy fares during Bush's second term, with Iraq and the War on Terror as wildcards.
The War on Terror cannot realistically be completely won, in my opinion. So to answer your question, no. We can do our best to try to neutralize the terrorists' ability to harm us. So while we will probably never be able to completely kill or imprison all the terrorists and prevent new ones from filling the ranks, we can limit the damage they can do to us.

Personally, it wouldn't surprise me a bit. Would I participate, you ask? No. I would fight it as much as possible shy of taking up arms but, in the end, I would move my family to a more Muslim friendly nation.
I would only take up arms if arms were taken up against me.

He'll be working at the 7-11 right down the street from your house. You know that creepy dude who works the night shift...? Yeah, think him, except Muslim - and with a massive beard.

Mr. Bin Laden will be adressing the nation. One nation under Allah. Side by side with his apprentice George Achmed Bush.

Any ideas? I would personally recommend one of those nice Scandinavian countries.

That wouldn't be so bad. I'd also consider Okinawa or possibly India.

India? It's poor and conservative. And unless you plan on living in a Muslim region, they probably won't like Muslims that much. (Especially if it's near Pakistan.)
I've never heard of Okinawa.

The next President will be either a moderate democrat or an extremely right republican. If Bushs next presidency is considered a success by a majority of the nation, the Republicans will become more risk-taking in their policies.
If Dubyas presidency is viewed as a semi-success/failure, it will either be a moderate republican or democrat, but most likely a democrat if they put forward a more effective anti-republican campaign than Kerry had(terrible campaign).
If Dubyas presidency is viewed as a complete failure, I think it will still be a moderate democrat. America will be too stubborn in their ideals to elect a liberal democrat into the White House in the near future.
The only problem is, as a moderate, I can't find a credible politician on either side. I've heard republicans shout out Rudy Gulliani(sp?) but he's liberal on social issues such as abortion, and that's a big no-no in the republican party. I've also heard Rick Santorum, but he's too far right. I wouldnt' be surprised if he tried to put security cameras in everyones home to make sure they aren't plotting terrorist activities or committing sinful acts such as pre-marital sex. Rick Santorum probably won't win re-election in PA anyways.
I've heard Democrats say Clinton. I agree that America isn't ready for a female president. Obama, althought I believe Obama will be president, '08 is too soon. He will make a great president someday, but not yet. I think putting Obama up in '08 will make him like Bob Dole, losing 2 consecutive presidential elections and looking like a failure.
Can anybody else name some names? John Edwards is going to be 4 years removed from office and forgotten about. John McCain and Dick Cheney are too old. I really can't see who our next president could be.
