No no, it's national, just a little low-profile. www.ascm.org is the website for the founding organization, I think.

Pocket protector in my right breast pocket with small wire cutters/strippers and a large pair of tweezers in it. Pocket knife and lighter in my left hip pocket, ratcheting screwdriver and magnetic tip holder in my right. Two adjustable wrenches in my left rear pocket (6" and 10") and a pair of plyers and a six-in-one screwdriver in my right rear. Topped off with a Charcoal colored jacket with a 4 way spigot key in one pocket and a razor knife in the other. And of course my ID badge around my neck.

Fur isn't murder, by the way. Shooting something living in the head is murder, fur is a byproduct of skinning an animal.

I'm aware that you're trying to be funny. But I dare you to move to my town and try to survive here for over a week without animal parts. To get my current outfit several cows had to die, and several sheep had to go naked for a while (wool hat, socks, scarf, sweater). For my next coat, because the leather trench-coat is just not hacking it, I will utilize: 4 tuscany lambs (that's right, baby sheep) 1 Beaver, 1 Wolverine (actually, I'm only using half of him) and at least 4 Ermine.

My current pair of mittens involves parts of: Seal, (yes, I said seal), Calf (once again with the killing of baby animals), beaver, and lamb. Not to mention the sinew used to sew them together. However, I think that was a synthetic in my case, and didn't actually come from one of the caribou that was shot this year.

I appreciate the fact that they were once alive, and had their lives taken so that I might get to school every day without freezing to death. Before you start bitching about the lifestyles of those you don't know anything about, take a look around your house. Anything leather? Where do you think that came from?

You know what they say: The reason people protest fur and not leather is that they would rather pick on old ladies than large bikers.

I'm wearing the same clothes I have been for about two weeks. I should probably stop cruising around forums and have a wash.
