I saw a UFO!

It was unbelievable, I was driving in the middle of BF nowhere, and I looked up, than I stopped my car, got out, and saw this weird little plane flying slowly, than all of a sudden these beams shot out, it was pretty cloudy that night, and the sky lit up, it looked like a few inches from down here, but up there the beams must have shot out miles. Than they retracted and shot out the other side! Than the other side, and the other side. I got a little scared, so I opened my car door took out a flashlight, and in morse code, spelled out S.O.S. (I saw it on some documentary once) it didnt work, so I just stood there, than all of a sudden, two little specks of light got close to it, they stood in a V formation and shot out forward and all I saw a V light flashing across the sky, in a split second they were gone! It was really unbelievable.

I believe you saw something. I just don't really think it was an alien spaceship. People see have been seeing shit like that for years. I stand by my hope that it is a government conspiracy, although it's probably not.

That wouldnt have been to good, seeing as Im a man.The majority of those that claim to have been anally probed by horny alien invaders are, in fact, male. In any case, anal sex is about equally (non-)pleasurable for males and females.

About two years ago, I was talking to a friend on the phone when something in the window caught my attention. I went over and looked outside and had the shit scared out of me. The moon was flaming red and filling up a quarter of the sky. I told my friend and he confirmed that there was something seriously fucked up in the sky.

We hung up the phone...I ran downstairs to go outside only to find that the sky was now filled with cloud.

Apparently, no-one else saw it apart from my friend. It is possible that he was lieing to calm me down because he thought I'd lost my sanity. I have never asked him about this.

And I'm pretty god-damn sure I didn't dream this one. The giant flaming moon never appeared again, though.

So you went and publish this sighting online? Really smart of you. Keep it up and you can soon be expecting a little visit from two odd looking men in black suits driving a black Mercedes....I would keep my mouth, if you know whats good for you.

The problem with such "sightings" is that they assume that any strange pattern of flashing lights in the sky is a UFO. That's obviously not true - many manmade craft and natural phenomena cause strange lighting patterns in the sky.

Interesting, but naturally, because (as far as I know) no one online really knows you and there is no way we can prove that this really happened, and you're asking us to beleive you saw a ufo (asking a lot), we can't really take you seriously, and shouldn't.

Nothing personal, but the best we can do is take your word for it, and in general doing that of things with little proof coming from e-strangers isn't a good thing to do.

I believe you about that.

We have a weird moon, this one time, at night, I was walking my dog, I looked for the moon, and it was nowhere. than I saw it, at the end of my street (well obviously it was in space, but thats what it looked like.)

Than, I looked up the moons orbit on the internet, and it was not supposed to be anywhere near there during any time of its orbit.

It was also orange and ginormous! It was really strange, nobody else saw the moon that night. It couldnt have been a dream.

UFO only refers to an "unidentified flying object." It does not refer to an alien spaceship. A plane could be UFO, as long as someone sees it and has no clue what it is.

A plane could be UFO, as long as someone sees it and has no clue what it is.I've seen plenty of UFOs, then. It's really hard trying to tell between different kinds of airliners when they're flying at high altitude, and I cannot identify any civilian propeller aircraft either.

If you've even seen something get launched across a yard/field/anything else, and not known what it was (it could have been a friggin frisbee for all I care), then you've seen even more. UFOs are exactly that -- Unidentified Flying Objects. People need to stop assuming that UFO means alien spaceship.

I haven't seen an Alien Spacecraft, but I sure would like to.

The nearest experience to seeing an Alien spacecraft was when I was walking down Oxford Street, and was stopped by a Hare Krishna (sp?), who gave me a book and started telling me how he goes on the roofs of houses in central London and films UFO's. He wen't on to tell me he communicates with them, and they only communicate with people they feel comfortable with.

Aparantly he is sending a video of his experiences to the BBC but is afraid that government agenices are going to track him down and stop him before mass panick ensues.

He was also kind enough to inform me that both Bush and Blair were shape shifting aliens, and it is infact aliens that are running our nations.

What a nice fellow. I was beginning to think he was an alien himself ..

People need to stop assuming that UFO means alien spaceship.Frisbees, footballs, baseballs, small rocks, butterflies, bees, boomerangs, etc. are generally rather easy to identify. Although I suppose by the same standards an airliner, a single/dual propeller civilian aircraft, etc. are also easy to identify.

I have never seen anything I could not identify to such a group, nor has anyone I know, nor have I ever talked with anyone who has talked with anyone who has.

Well, if you have crappy night vision (like me!) virtually everything can become a UFO.

I saw a huge orange moon years ago. Saw one regular sized reddish moon once. Put chills through me, for a moment I thought all hell was about to break loose. I'd like to see another really large moon and have a camera able to take a great photo of it, that would be awesome.

This one time I was abducted by aliens. They weren't grey, or anything like that, in fact, they looked just like humans, although they might've just been trying to trick me. They were dressed in purple and white jump suits with silver stripes and wore funny hats. All carried shiny metal weapons and were interested in whether or not I knew how to play the theme song to Star Trek. I replied that I could only hum along. Once they learned this, they transported me back to my front lawn.

I want to believe, but I can't. There's just way too much evidence against virtually any alien related UFO incident I have ever heard of. And so much of the evidence is so damning as well, I just cannot take any alien related UFO story seriously.

Meanwhile, I'm not going to say this one's false, as I know too little information about what occured, but if I knew more, I'd most certainly be able to render a verdict.

All the same I love to tell my "UFO" stories, even though I don't believe that they were alien and only one of them remains partially unexplained.

A few years back I saw something that was silvery and floating in the air I couldn't identify, my memory of it is slightly fuzzy, but I still don't totally know what it was, but I'd be willing to bet it was some sort of messed up cloud.

Another time I'd initially thought I'd seen a UFO was much more recently, I was driving in the early evening hours, when I saw a really odd bright light in the sky. I watched it for a while, and eventually I was assured that it was a shiny Boeing 727 airplane.
