Donations for the SE Asian disaster now come to more than TWO AND 1/2 BILLION DOLLARS! This total is more than the combined total for ALL known previous disasters taken together!

probably because after all the critisizm america took for its initial response.. either the US wants to look better then everyone else.. or the rest of the world dosnt want to give the US that pleasure.. its a compeition now of who can donate more money
