Giving up smoking was my last years Resolution, and I've kept it as well :)
I've not thought of one for this year yet - but I'm open to suggestions!!

I've resolved no more fries or chips until I get into a 36 waist again. These 38s are getting a little snug, and I'm *not* happy about that.

Too many people ask me what my New Years resoultion is.
And despite the fact that I have nothing to resolve, they insist.
So this year, i cam up with a resolution that will shut everyone up, and that is..
Invade Poland.
I'm willing to bet that I don't keep it. I can;t even "invade" my own living room. So it's really just there to shut people up.
Besides, "Invade Poland" just flows so nicely when spoken.

quit smoking. So far so good.
I quit about three weeks ago. One thing I learned the first time I quit ( for about 10 years! ) was to substitute something else for the smoking. I tried sex, but couldn't find a partner willing to ... well ... nevermind. I finally settled on exercise ... wound up running ten miles every other day and working out with weights on alternate days. :)
