Okay, I just saw the preview for the Alone in the Dark motion picture on TV. While normally I would look forward to it, the fact that it was produced by Uwe Toilet Boll, he of the abomination known as House of the Dead makes me cringe at the prospects of the film. And I liked the game.

The film is basely loosed on the latest/last game in the series, The New Nightmare. Christian Slater I admit would make a pretty cool Carnby. But after that... oh boy. Anyone who played the game would probably be inclined to agree Titty Reid was not the best candidate to play Aline Cedrac. And apparently there's going to be a mass military involvement from what I saw in the trailers, turning the story into little more than Aliens with evil spirits. Not to mention from what I read of the synopsis on various sites the lost Abkanis tribe are now pegged as having worshipped them instead of keeping their supernatural asses locked up as in the game. I haven't watched the film and all ready I can feel the crap-infested claw of Toilet Boll at work.

Not only that, it disheartened me to find out Toilet Boll got his mitts on the rights to a Bloodrayne film. So I was wondering if there was a way to start a general petition that can be sent to all the major game publishers and developers pleading them to turn down Toilet Boll's efforts to turn all the awesome games into crap films.
