Asia Crisis

La Terra di Liberta

Last I saw, the death toll had topped 135 000 and was likely to rise. Now, this is a tragic event but I want to make it clear, this does not prove God doesnt exist. This is a happening of nature like a tornado or a hurricane. People may say "If God loves us so much, why doesnt he stop things like this from happening?" The answer is simple, God does not medal with human lives and things on earth. I reject that God gives miracles to help those who praise him or that he punishes those who dont. If this were something else, I would blame humans and in a way, we can here to. If there had been a warning system in place for the Indian Ocean, thousands of lives could have been saved. Youd think an event like this would change the minds of a country like Australia who could afford to take part in something like this. Instead, they are only "looking" at the option. If this had happened and killed tons of people down under, they would have demanded and led the charge in starting up one but because it is other nations that suffer, Australia seems to think that it should only be looked at. No, this was an act of nature and God had no part in this and blaming him or saying he doesnt exist because this happened is simply wrong. Agree with me, disagree with me, I dont care, its what I think and thats that.
