I just got back from my new years celebrations in town (its 4am here, I started too early and my legs gave way so i came home earlier than usual) and it was pretty crap my night over all was quite good, but the only thing that made new years eve different from any other friday night on the town was that every bar had a fuckin door charge and there were way more 12-15 year olds running around town. I guess all the families in civic square probably had fun with their family countdown, but for your average punter hitting the town new years is pretty shitty...

I've never seen a reason to get drunk or party much; my family just has a bunch of snacks available. We watch the ball drop in New York and that's about it.
Plus I'd never drink alcohol anyway.

I've been invited to a party at one of my friend's beach house. (He comes from money) I may go, but really I'm not feeling up to it. I was up until 3am this morning and am a little under the weather. This may end up being a pretty boring New Year.

I'm gonna stay home and have a good old fashioned cry this new years.

Mine was rather shitty too. Because of the deaths from the earthquake, my prime minister declared that all celebrations would be cancelled. So no fireworks and stuff, and everybody was suppose to be at church or mosques or temples. Etc.

Pubs and clubs were still open, and festivities continued as normal though. But it still was rather shitty... well, all new years are shitty anyway. But this year was the worst.

I ended up driving friends home as they were too pissed drunk to drive. Like always. I'm the only one who ever drinks responsibly. And I have very high tolerance (Doctor says I have poor metabolism, and everytime I try to get drunk, I always end up with liver problems needing to go to the hospital rather than getting drunk, so I don't go past a bottle or two always.)

Oh yeah. My car side window was spray-painted by some fucker. And same to everybody who parked at the road. :( Had to cut short because One of my not-so-close friend was gang-raped tonight as well. Walked alone in the dark. I just came back from the hospital.

Yeah, hope they catch them. Her Parents were there and filed a police report. Probably going to get DNA testing. I don't know her very well. I was there mostly to drop off a friend.

Going to bed soon. Going to try and use thinner on my car tomorrow. Lucky the bastards spray-painted my glass windows and didn't really get much of the car. So might not be needing a repaint job.
