This forum is a wonderful hive of discussion of political issues from both a Conservative and Liberal standpoint.
On a random thought and a random whim I thought it would be interesting to do a headcount of those who affiliate themselves with both ideological standpoints.
To work it I thought the following would be a suitable format - if you affiliate with one group simply increase the total of that group by one as you post.
I think everyone would aggree this is generally an oversimplification of the way people form their opinions so it's really a broad indicator more than anything else.
I'm a UN member who sees the social benefits of limited state intervention and believe in todays world civil liberties are of paramount importance. I'd class my self as a moderate Conservative.
Therefore the end of my post looks as follows. It'd be interesting to see how this changes over time!
Conservative: 1
Liberal: 0
