I don't know about anyone else, but I for one am absolutely disgusted with all of the mindless Bush-bashing I've heard and read lately. I don't care if you agree with Bush or not. I agree with him on most things, and disagree on some. It's fine with me if you love him or if you hate him. However, I do not understand all of the idiotic things people (aka Skadperoe) have been posting. "Look at me, I called Bush a Nazi, I'm so clever, hahaha, I'm so cool," does not constitute an argument. It has name, and that name (the PG version) is "drivel." If you want to make a reasoned, logical, and coherent argument against Bush or his policies, by all means, please do. Debate is wonderful. Idiocy is not.

The same goes for out-and-out conservative bashing, though I've seen far less of it. Just because someone voted for Bush (or would have voted for him were they 18, as is my case) does not make them stupid any more then voting for Kerry makes them smart. The are stupid, ignorant, and intolerant people on both sides. Acknowledge it. Don't take the "holier than thou" attitude, because it's what lost Kerry the election (well, it was one of the major factors). Meh.

I'll have to agree with Malkyer here. But, there has also been a bit of anti-liberal stuff. This is a little unrelated, but going to a random anti-Semitic website that shows how Jews rule the world isn't really smart. A few flimsy conclusions hasn't proved that Earth is round. Facts and proofs have.

-Direct-link it(not so-and-so.org)
-Use spelling to the best of your ability
-summarize it(If you're too lazy, maybe we don't need to know; even a few sentences will do)

Socialism in the Marxist sense is dead.

I believe that people should be able to do what they want, when they want, and balls to anyone who tries to stop them.

Let the government act as a protector, not an enforcer.

I don't know what, precisely, I mean. Libertarianism in all senses but economic, I suppose.

I'm even for letting people keep guns. With a government like ours, people should very well be able to fight back if that's what it comes to.

Which brings me to another point: liberals must arm themselves or face a serious dose of irony.
