OF course the everybody wants peace. Take USA for example. We want peace but we can't trust those peace hating Arabs or Chinese or Koreans. So we have to build up our army to crush them and thwart their peace hating intentions. Likewise they build up their defenses to thwart America's peace hating imperialism and on an on it goes.
I highly doubt that any less than 99.99% of humanity does not want peace on earth. Just that people have different ideas on how to achieve it. THAT is what creates war and violence. So does greed.

It seems humans can't live with peace, as they're drawn to creating societies and competing within those bounds.
I believe all people want peace but for many there are more important things which require disharmony.

As much as I desire peace in the world, I do believe that humanity must still be willing to wage war if it is *truly* threatened. Even in peacetime, tryanny may rear its ugly head, if we all desire peace, we won't be able to fight against the tyranny
