I don't celebrate it (or celebate it for that matter), but I had a good one nonetheless.

I got to visit the Liberty Bell and "Independence Hall", to re-hear the story of this countries foundation and learn a few facts that I didn't know before, like that slavery would have been abolished and women's property and voting rights would have been established had Jefferson's original draft been used. And that the signing of the Declaration of Ind. was only unanimous because the delagates from NY stepped out of the room as their consitiuancy had not granted them the freedom to vote for independence, but they were in favor of it anyway...
