What is next, robbers as terrorists? Because "i was so terrified when he waved that gun". Or bullies? "He terrorizes the whole school".
Terrorist are, by common understanding, politically motivated, gangmembers arent.

Bullshit, Areyoukiddingme. You pick out one similarity of both groups and thus decide they are equal. What about motivation, economics, political background, methods and group dynamics?
