I chose Stalingrad but I have to say I don't enough about what happened before that. I read the thread about this and learned that the Battle of Moskow was more meaningful than what I've known before.
Moscow I believe. Stalingrad was crucial but the momentum initially stopped at Moscow. The Germans were already being forced back by the time of the battle of Kursk.

I agree about Moscow, but looking up something for the blitzkreig thread I came accross an interesting argument for Kursk (http://www.mindef.gov.sg/safti/pointer/back/journals/2002/Vol28_1/2.htm).

Stalingrad. That was the major turning point.
Not only the momentum, but the sheer number of deaths for the Germans.
Stalingrad, did they make a movie with Jude Law about any of the other battles? I think not. And Rachel Weisz is hot too.
