Inexplicable

I have in front of me (or rather i used to its in my tv's dvd thingy now) the disc for i Robot (UK) and upon it is written (among other things) the phrase "Disc 1" innocent enough on its own until you realise that this is part of a one disc set. In other words, there is no disc 2 and therefore no reason for mention of any number discs.

Why: is this written on my dvd dammit
Why: does it have damned annoying trailers and warning about movie piracy at the begining one of the main things i get dvds to avoid cos im an impatient person
Why: do i have this dvd when i could have the Casshern ultimate edition dvd from yes asia for the same amount of money and be enjoying a superior movie at this time.

Anyone else have anything inexplicable in the same vien? I thought it would be interesting to ponder the quirks of life.

Another in explicable thing is why this was placed in here when i opened the new thread button in General :D, perhaps we'll never know (its probably cos of the having multiple windows open bit ive got going :D)

If you have the power to move this, please do so :D much obliged.

Not completely sure, but I think I saw I, Robot in a store yesterday... with two DVDs in separate cases, all wrapped up as a sort of "special offer." The second case was actually entirely clear, so you could see "Disc 2" printed on the enclosed disc!

How odd (putting a double disc set in two seperate boxes AND the fact that i have seen no such thing :D)

Still Kudos to which ever all powerful God... err Mod put this thread in its rightful zone :D

And yes that would certainly go a long way to explaining the unnecassery Disc 1 on my dvd.

Actually, Disk 2 is a behind the scenes look at how the entire movie-shoot was made on environmentally sound energy, produced by harnessing the rotational energy of Isaac Asimov's corpse.
