My girlfriend and i were discussing the ring and it got me thinking if everyone in the world watched the tape at the same time how could she appear to all those people at the same time?

Everyone in the world would have to have a copy of the tape, though.

First, why did no one kick in their TV when she started to come through. Second, the American version sucks ass.

Normally I hate remakes (esp american ones), but this was sooo much better than the japanese version; much scarier with a much more coherent storyline

This movie was actually worth seeing? Not just another supid horror movie?
The Grudge I heard had the Japanese version being a hell of alot more scary.

She would put em on hold for about 30 days until she finally manages to tell em "7 days...."

I'm pretty sure a psycho-kinetic ghost child that can know when you've watched her tape and ome out of your TV to kill you 7 days later isn't really limited by real world laws...

Meaning, I doubt that paradoxes of time and space are a factor for her...

She can probably be everywhere, killing everyone, all at once...

thats what i was thinking

now more of a paradox is how in the pilot for stargate sg1 matter CAN pass both ways throguh a wormhole (apothys walks in blasts everyone and walks back through) then way later they have a whoel show where a major point is the fact matter CANT pass both ways through a worm hole

actually, when i think of a paradox, i dont think of stupid sci-fi shows. I think more along the line of "Without evil there can be no good, so it must be good to be evil sometimes"

There are one way windows aren't there? Why not one way wormholes?

The wormwhole closes and then he reopens it with the Guould auto-dial thingy... i was wondering the same thing then caught the episode on sci-fi the other day
