Putin isn't running, he's the president of Russia.
Meanwhile this election has been stolen from Viktor Yanukovich by a US funded coup. According to the Ukrainian constitution, the president is Viktor Yanukovich.

It's pretty obvious that Yushenko will win, weather he really does or not, what with the several countries and the hype. Now, who's up for a blue revolution? The exit polls and the result over in the United States of America do not show the same result.
Cheap democracy- woops, already sold.

just dont forget that this is an election in which one must choose the lesser of two evils.
Yuschenko is no liberal demi-god. But compared to the Putin ass-kissing Yanokovitch, he is really quite appealing.
dont be surprized if things spiral into anarchy there over the next couple of months. The Pussian leaning regions might really try to cede from the country. Bad bad news.
