It was snowing great, big flakes earlier today. Now it's just a few itty-bitty ones. Here, in Minnesota, I'm guessing the snow will stick. I don't know about where you are.
It's started snowing again up here, it snowed last sunday, that blocked us in and just as the last of that was clearing more's arrived. Where blocked in...again.

In a farm, On top of a large hill, in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Near Skipton. Just went out (it's dark now) and the track to the roads blocked, my only line of communication to the outside world is my TV and NS. Phones down.

I feel sorry for you. I'm just glad that for me snow is an unusual event rather then a semi frequent inconvenience (unless it is during the school term though ;))

Lots of snow here in Scotland too (west coast near Glasgow), it's been snowing on and off since yesterday (christmas eve) and it's getting thicker :)Only thing is I can't get the car out the drive (it's very steep) and I need milk and cigarettes :(

it's pritty unsual to get it this thickly, even up here. Most winters we get a bit. i've had a white Christmas 4 years in a row. We do get some during the school term, but never enough to cancel school. :(

Canada.
Here in Massachusetts, we always get a few inches of snow to get our hopes up before Christmas.
Then it rains and we get a crappy, foggy morning.

I don't if it will stick where you are...
I'm in Wisconsin, and we got the first snow of the season this Monday. THAT is going to stick around, seeing as temps have been below zero(and occasionaly at 2 degrees) for the past few days, and it's not getting any warmer...

It was around 72 monday, dipped down to 21 tuesday night, snowed wednesday all day, and its still here! (all temp readings are in Farenheit), so you should be in luck, if it can stick here, it should stick there

I've just returned from visiting my folks who live in Cheshire and it's caining it down over there. Seems to have quietened down in the city, though. Damn buildings giving off heat.

I doubt it. The only inclines near here are slip roads.
Certainly adrenaline making, but I doubt I will ever be able to get drunk enough to risk it. :)

If you ever feel like wandering out into the wilderness (*gasp*) past Didsbury, Heaton Mersey Park is in the shape of a giant bowl.

Good point. But I am fine here in the hinterland of Didsbury.

I live in Dublin and it NEVER shows at Xmas here, but it did today! However, the snowfall was light, and it sure didn't stick. I'm going to Offaly tomorrow (inland) so I think it is much more snowy there yay! I can take lots of photos! (Yes, I'm a photographer nerd.)

I hate snow. I grew up and spent most of my life in Northern British Columbia where a climactic fluke would see my particular area get enormous snow falls even though it's on the coast and otherwise very wet and mild. We'd often get dumps of five feet, sometimes on top of the 5 feet already on the ground. Snow is evil!
