What's your idea of a good time?

Keeping the scandal to a minimum, what do you do to have fun? Personally, I usually start off a night by going to the pub with a few mates, get some beers in (usually resolution or a few pints of stella), then off to sugarcubes, the only alternative club in the city I live in, Lincoln. What follows can only be described as random jumping, shoving and shouting. Last week I was trying to chat a girl a up. Half an hour into it, she asked me what her name was. I was so drunk I couldn't remember and guessed that it was Alice. It wasn't. I don't think she was very impressed because she got up and made a beeline for the exit. In retrospect, perhaps I have should have actually been listening :( A lesson hard taught I think. But it was all in good fun. :)

What do you do for a good time? Got any good drinking stories?

Oh, I'm a freak when it comes to stuff like this... I like watching guys code (yes, computers). Especially in C++ for some unknown reason (rawr). Even though I don't know enough about coding to follow, usually. And on the occasions when I know someone with an English accent, making them talk is fun (eeee! English accents!).

Hrm... Morrowind is what I do when I can't sleep at 3am. Because all the jumping around eventually makes me sleepy (and/or seasick).

NS foruming - obviously. I've practically abandoned all my other forums to spend time here. It's appalling.

Can't help you with drinking stories, as I don't drink. Oh, but my dad used to let me drink the foam off his beer when I was really little. So if I'm a freak, it's probably his fault.

Good time: Quiet pub with freinds, no music otherwise I find it almost impossible to follow the conversation. I really hate going to clubs, I can't hear anything so I can't talk to anyone, I can't talk to anyone so I can't chat anyone up therefore I have to hope my dancing attracts the females (it doesn't, all it attracts are pointing fingers and laughter). Also I get agitated in crowds, not good for 'jumping' clubs. Therefore to relax I get shamefully drunk in order to combat these too problems.

Drinking stories: One night I fell of the bonnet of a moving car and broke my wrist a teeth. I didn't know the people who's car it was, nor did I realise I had broken my wrist till two days later.

All of the above apart from chocolate (well, I wont say no I guess :p).

My idea of a good time...A live band, a fat joint (or three), some (OK a lot of) booze afterwards, then crashing at a friends place, waking up in the morning wondering where the hell I am :)

Oh yeah and keeping with net-nerdyness, playing games/posting inane crap on NS when I go home in a vain attempt to stave off the after effects :D

All of the above... although I don't do any drugs besides marijuana.
Usually beer, tobacco and chocolate are enough to keep me in good spirits.

Having a good time for me is just spending time with my friends and family. It really doesn't matter what we're doing, as long as there's no obscenely loud music playing (I listen to enough obscenely loud music on my own). I'm also not a very big fan of drunk people. Drinking: ok. Drunkenness: not ok.

Drinking story: My roommates in college liked to drink a lot, it didn't really matter what day of the week or what time it was. Well, one day while drunk they decided to find out if they could light a phone book on fire. After successfully meeting their goal, they put out the phone book and through it in the dumpster. About 15 minutes later we hear a knock on the door. We open it up and this guy says, "Uh, you know the dumpster is on fire, right?" We look out the window and the dumpster is a raging inferno. So, rather than doing the intelligent thing and calling the fire department, we start a bucket brigade in an attempt to put the fire out. Eventually the fire department does show up and puts out the fire, but they couldn't find out who started it. For the next two weeks my roommate was paranoid, always saying things like "Do you think I'm gonna go down for this? Do you think they'll kick me out?" Ah, good times.

good time for me usually doesn't involve alcohol, but large amounts of weed and a movie or two with mates.
used to enjoy going out to clubs and getting pissed but kinda realised its pointless and actually not that fun anymore (for me).

its also nice and fun just to spend time with my family... which is why i like xmas! happy xmas (or whatever you celebrate) everyone! :D

Good time for me is alcohol. But not too much, don't want them puking all over the floor. Just high and talkative.

Then sit around a nice table and talk rubbish till the sun rises remeniscing the good ol times that we conjured up to impress the ladies.
