Christmas is about so much more than the birth of Christ. Its about goodwill, peace, joy, and happiness. So a Happy Winter Solstice to you.

I don't believe in God, and I'm feeling extremely bitter right now, because life rather sucks.

To cheerfully correct your response I am not a Christian. I just find Christmas to be a good median for spreading goodwill.

I think you would do well to understand the intentions of his comments, as the goodwill and cheer seems to stop at your doorstep.

Alright, Pagans. Listen, when people tell you merry Christmas, they're trying to be nice. People thought I was jewish at one point, told me Happy Hannunkah. I didn't care! I knew they meant well. So get the stick out of your behind and say thankyou for wishing me well as opposed to all this anti-Christian mumbo jumbo.

We're trying to be nice and lets leave it at that.

I doubt this will pass through your "Anything with Christian undertones is an affrontment to my religion" radar, but I am an agnostic, recently an athiest. I still, however, celebrate Christmas, and find that it is a wonderful time to reflect on the power of good will and good deeds. Assign whatever meaning you wish to Christmas, but please don't ruin it for the rest of us.
