Ok, one last thing before I go, and then I promise, I won't come back for awhile!

Which is better: Pushups or situps(crunches)?

Both are necessary.

Better how?

Easier or for burning more calories?

Each works different muscles so I guess its what you wanna work.

Situps are bad for the abs. It pushes the fat out and makes you look fatter, FYI. lol. Fact of science.

Yeah, but it makes you stronger, and better able to take a punch to the body.

Situps. I can actually do those.

So? You're not ACTUALLY fatter, you just look fatter. Kind of like how weightlifting makes you look like you've lost more fat than you have - the fat's still there, it's just sculpted better.

I believe that was was Flanvel said. Unless I misinterpretted it; he/she never said it "makes" you fatter. He/she did use the essential "look."

the question makes no sense as they effect different parts of the body
if you want to build arms and pecs, do pushups
if you want great abs do crunches (NOT SITUPS)

if you want to look great all over do both.

plus cardio

and weight training

and dont forget to eat right.

and good genetics is a BIG plus.

I much prefer pushups since they enable me to support my weight on my arms for extended periods of time. :)
