I got a question for all you ladies, since women are more complicated than an enigma machine I wanted to ask something. Do girls like it when your boyfriend or person you know is trying to go out with you acts romantic; examples being:

1) Putting a dozen red roses in her locker for you to find on your birthday

2) Secretly putting a gold necklace into her pocket with a note saying such and such about her.


I find myself trying such things and some of the girls think I'm wierd, or else corrupted in some way from watching too many romance movies, which I haven't. I think myself just a romantic kind a guy though there are those who would call me otherwise. So the question is, Do you like guys who are romantic for you?

i think it depends on how well you know the girls. if you do this kind of stuff to strangers, you might come off like a stalker. also your notes saying 'such and such' do they actually say

'You bitch, i know where you live. i've seen you, cheating on me i thought we had something special. how can you ignore me. i walked past you in the corridor yesterday and you didn't even acknowledge me. you slut i'll rip you apart.'

Big romantic gestures (like all those roses or jewelry) should be saved for special occasions. Small romantic suprises are good too - plus they don't make women feel uncomfortable if they think you are coming on too strong. Do subtler things like little notes or little presents that are thoughtful or fun.
