Unfortunately my girlfriend and I arrived at the local cheese shop just a little too late today. When we got there, an employee was holding the door open for another couple as they left... and being the gentleman that I am, I took hold of the outer handle to relieve her of her burden.

Well! Imagine my surprise when, instead of thanking me, she yanked the door out of my hand, closed it and locked it!

I can understand wanting to close up early (2pm) for the holiday... but all she had to do was tell me! (Erica was really pissed... she called the manager from the cell phone in the car. I don't think I'll ever get her back there... I guess now we're stuck with inferior Wegmans cheese.)

I like cheese, except for one cheese I had at a beakfast buffet at the Hotel Martin in Bad Saltzafluzen, (I hope I spelled that correctly) Germany. I put the cheese in my mouth and it tasted like stinky feet smell.

I ate stinky feet cheese!

One thing you do need to make an excellent cheese sandwich is butter, not margarine but real butter and cut your own bread with a nice piece of delicious ham. Lovely. All washed down either with a can of coke or some tea. Even better.

Who likes cheese huh?
Sorry, I don't like it.

I LOVE cheese.

I can't believe only one other person has voted for Stilton. That stuff is fantastic.

I used to live near an organic vegatarian cheese maker, and their 2 year old aged Edam and aged Cheddar was so fucking nice, it would bring tears to your eyes.
They also made fresh mozarella which was delish and Greek yoghurt which was similarly devine.

Ahh, now I'm getting homesick. Asians just don't like cheese, and so it's damn difficult to find decent stuff here except in specialty shops where it's bloody expensive.

My favourite snack is Marmite and cheese on toast, or mousetraps. But mousetaps take longer, so it's usually the former.

Actually, that's just a form of Mozarella. Personally, I am especially fond of mizithra, romano, swiss, gorgonzola, feta and toe :p ;) :D cheese. Sorry, couldn't resist being little silly and extremely gross on that last one. Oh yeah, jalapeno queso and Croatian farmers cheese are also delightful.

Well... of the commercial cheeses, I think I like Edam the very best, although it's almost impossible to get the stuff, down-our-way.

A good Danish Blue....

I remember an Apricot-Stilton cheese that was particularly good...

Mmmmm, Cheese... :)
