You know...a song that fits you and what you do

Mine's probably gotta be "American Idiot"

for the lyrics, not the title of the song

My theme tune would probably be "Why can't we be friends" or "Frosty The Snowman".

Ok. Someone else on this board had said that he was bisexual, and was writing it about a man, but that was purely anecdotal and there were no sources or anything. Because of the honey thing, which I had forgotten (the lyrics at that part are really hard to hear...) about, I certainly see your part. But, to be fair, you can feel the inside of a man as well...

and any song about sex and nihilism is alright by me
It is more about hedonism than nihilism, I think, and it seems to be lamenting the nihilistic lifestyle. It seems that it is meant to show some of the hedonistic corruption brought about by sex addicts, and is showing the terrible result. It also happens to be embracing it, in a way, however...but that is just part of how it all works.

In my opinion, it is basically just believing that you can do whatever you want and/or feel like doing because life has no meaning.

Do you believe that there is anything wrong with that? Everyone has to live their own life, we all make our own choices, you own your life don't you...so is there anything wrong with living your life the way you want to?

Like Lady Day once sang...If I have a notion to take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean...It Ain't Nobodies Business If I do...

I am perfectly fine with letting anyone who wants to live that way do so, but I don't think it is the healthiest way to be. I would argue with that person that is some meaning to life, but if they are convinced of their convictions, then I would live and let live. Who knows, perhaps the nihilists are right, and the meaning I see to life is merely contrived by my mind? Though, to be fair, my thoughts are merely that there is the biological meaning to reproduce, to enjoy life as best as one can, to help others do so, and to die in order to fuel future life. The last one is the most important in my opinion. I'm really into the whole druidic cycle thing. Or at least I found out I was--I came to that conclusion and later found out that it is a basic drudic belief.

LIVES IN THE BALANCE - Jackson Browne

I've been waiting for something to happen

For a week or a month or a year

With the blood in the ink of the headlines

And the sound of the crowd in my ear

You might ask what it takes to remember

When you know that you've seen it before

Where a government lies to a people

And a country is drifting to war

And there's a shadow on the faces

Of the men who send the guns

To the wars that are fought in places

Where their business interest runs

On the radio talk shows and the T.V.

You hear one thing again and again

How the U.S.A. stands for freedom

And we come to the aid of a friend

But who are the ones that we call our friends--

These governments killing their own?

Or the people who finally can't take any more

And they pick up a gun or a brick or a stone

There are lives in the balance

There are people under fire

There are children at the cannons

And there is blood on the wire

There's a shadow on the faces

Of the men who fan the flames

Of the wars that are fought in places

Where we can't even say the names

They sell us the President the same way

They sell us our clothes and our cars

They sell us every thing from youth to religion

The same time they sell us our wars

I want to know who the men in the shadows are

I want to hear somebody asking them why

They can be counted on to tell us who our enemies are

But they're never the ones to fight or to die

And there are lives in the balance

There are people under fire

There are children at the cannons

And there is blood on the wire.

You may listen to this song if you've never heard it. It's safe to click.. I uploaded it to my website.

Wow this totally reminds me of an assignment I had in high school. We were supposed to make an invention and market it, mine was a pair of shoes that had an MP3 player in them, with little speakers in the side. They were billed as playing the personal soundtrack of your life. I still wanna try and make them, if anyone steals the idea I will murder you! lol.

My shoes were a big pair of hiking boots they had a few songs for everyday things (OK some of these I don't do everyday, but they looked good in the commercial I made)...

Walking Down They Street: Stompin' With My Big Black Boots - Ice Cube
Confrontation With/Running From The Cops: Open Up - Dispatch
Riot/Protest Song: Take The Power Back - Rage Against The Machine
Ass Kicking Song: The Blade Techno 1 Song (Is it called Bloodbath?)

There we're a few more too, that commercial was awesome.

But I would say my all time theme song is Primus - Groundhog's Day http://www.airlyrics.com/lyrics/Primus/Groundhogs-day-lyrics.html

With Rage Against The Machine - Bullet In The Head as a close second.

And when I'm sad Jackson Browne - These Days or Elliot Smith - Needle In The Hay (on a really reall bad day, :( )

Hmm... a tough decision. I'll just list my top songs that I consider to be my theme songs.

"The World is Not Enough" - Garbage
"Personal Jesus" (Cover) - Marilyn Manson
"Nobody" - Skindred
"Never Gonna Stop Me" - Rob Zombie
"Iron Man" - Black Sabbath
"I Want To Conquer the World" - Bad Religion
"When Worlds Collide" - Powerman 5000
"Megalomaniac" - Incubus

Those should give you some insight into my mind.... just stay off the grass!!!

"Love Machine" by The Miracles

Otherwise, it's a lot of non-stop happy party polka.

I should be embarrassed by admitting mine would probably be "Round here" or "Mr Jones" by Counting Crows. Or Recovering the satellites, they're all relevant in some way or another.

But in terms of wanting to be a despotic psychopayhic dictator, it'd have to be "A fine day to die" - Emperor's cover of the Bathory original (because the Bathory one sounds like you're listening to it through a wall).

Meredith Brooks' Bitch

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover
I'm a child, I'm a mother
I'm a sinner, I'm a saint
I do not feel ashamed
I'm your hell, I'm your dream
I'm nothing in between

That classical music/opera piece they always play in Satan (like the Omen) movies, whenever Mr.Bad Guy's around.
What, Toccata and Fugue in D Minor? Because that's the most satanic-sounding piece I can think of.
