That occured to me, in fact I thought of it before "Bike", but I didn't think it really counted as a weird song.

But think about it this way, Trent Rezonr is a bisexual man, and closer was about him and another man. I remember reading that in a Rolling Stone interview.

"Dead Girls of London"

by Frank Zappa

Do you see what they are
Do you hear what they say
People it is sad but true
They're dressed really stupid
But they think they're o.k.
And they got no use for you
The dead girls of london
Why do they act that way?

Maybe it's the water, mama
Maybe it's the tea
Maybe it's the way they was raised
Maybe it's the stuff what they read in the papers
Keeps them lookin' sorta half in a daze
Well the dead girls of london
Why do they act that way?

We're the dead girls of london
We thinks we are fine
We ain't hittin' on nothin'
But the boutique frame of mind

You see 'em dancing at the disco every night
Like a bunch of little robot queens
Making little noises full of fake delight
But they're really just so full of beans
The dead girls of london
Why do they act that way?

We're the dead girls of london
We thinks we are fine
We ain't hittin' on nothin'
But the boutique frame of mind

Boutique frame of mind
Gee i like your pants
Boutique frame of mind
Gee i like your pants
Boutique frame of mind
Gee i like your pants

Well, to be fair, "zucchini" is an Italian word adopted for English use. Also, as an interesting side note, the proper singular of zucchini is zucchino. I don't know why we so often use the plural of Italian words in our food, but we do.

Also, though this isn't as strange as some of the other songs, but "Seven Drunken Knights", which I've heard performed by Flogging Molly, but I'm not sure if they wrote it, but it's kind of odd.

So many to chose from, which is the weirdest? Is Shatner's Lucy In The Sky weirder than Zevon's Excitable Boy? Hmm. I'll have to go with Raindogs by Waits becaue his voice is so great, but several of the versions of the classic Don't Go Home With Your Hard On (lryics by Cohen) are probably weirder.

edit: I just realized I completely forgot The Velvet Underground, the weirdest song I love has to be Staphanie Says, now that's a weird song.

Stephanie says that she wants to know
Why she's given half her life, to people she hates now
Stephanie says when answering the phone
What country shall I say is calling from across the world

But she's not afraid to die, the people all call her Alaska
Between worlds so the people ask her 'cause it's all in her mind
It's all in her mind

Stephanie says that she wants to know
Why it is thought she's the door She can't be the room

Stephanie says but doesn't hang up the phone
What sea shell sea is calling from across the world

But she's not afraid to die, the people all call her Alaska
Between worlds so the people ask her 'cause it's all in her mind
It's all in her mind

She asks you is it good or bad
It's such an icy feeling it's so cold in Alaska,
it's so cold in Alaska, it's so cold in Alaska

"Satan's Pastries" (or something like that) by Tool

Hmm...you may be thinking of "Die Eier Von Satan," which is German for "The Eggs of Satan." Either way, that song is crazy. It's so dark and industrial sounding, and I always thought it had something to do with evil and Satan (hence the title). But then I found the translated lyrics...and it's actually a recipe (for cake or something), "with no eggs."

Aside from that...any Primus song, especially "Tommy the Cat" and "Is It Luck?"

And any Ween song..."Pollo Asado" is just a song about ordering from a Spanish food stand. And "The Stallion" is just a lot of random profanity.

You haven't experienced death by WTF until you have heard and seen "The Ballad Of Bilbo Baggins" by Leonard Nimoy.

"In the middle of the earth, in the land of the shire, theres a brave little hobbit whom we all admire..."

My second favorite is "Brian's Mistake" by Brian Wiens, but thats an inside joke, as its just a recording of a guy I know saying all these dirty things about my sister. He was trying to annoy me by saying it into this personal recorder that I used to use, and I ended up listening to the tape for the first time in front of my family (including my sister)

"You know who's really hot? Kyle's sister. I wish she was here, right now! oh yeah (sexual moaning in the background)
I'd cover her body in hot oils, and have a human fondu. mmmmm, mmmm."

thats the jist of it

My version credits Nimoy, and the voice is definetely Nimoy, it is sung instead of declaimed for one thing (ever heard Shatner's It Was A Very Good Year?). I'm not saying Shatner hasn't done it, but if so he was covering a Nimoy song.

Warren Zevon 'Werewolves of London'

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand
Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fooks
For to get a big dish of beef chow mein

Refrain:
Ah-wooo, Werewolves of London
Ah-wooo
(x2)

You hear him howling around your kitchen door
Better not let him in
Little old lady got mutilated late last night
Werewolves of London again

(Refrain)
Hunh!

He's the hairy-handed gent
Who ran 'em up in Kent
Lately he's been overheard in Mayfair
You better stay away from him
He'll rip your lungs out, Jim
Hunh, I'd like to meet his tailor

(Refrain)
I saw Lon Chaney walking with the Queen
Doin' the Werewolves of London
I saw Lon Chaney Jr. walking with the Queen
Doin' the Werewolves of London
I saw a werewolf drinkin' a pina colada at Trader Vic's
His hair was perfect
Ah-wooo
Werewolves of London
Hunh, draw blood
Ah-wooo
