I do; it's one of the best games I ever played. I initially started playing it to see how badly Disney had ruined Square, but instead I found a wonderful game. I even work for a site about it and Kingdom Hearts II. If you're interested in it, go here: www.ansemreport.com
Check out the forums too; I'm there as PIcaRDMPC.

I couldn't get past the beginning where it's all cutscene and no gameplay.

Ha, I used to go to that site months ago sometimes when I played Kingdom Hearts (back when it was a new release).

Today, I'm playing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. I think I'm past the halfway mark.

I know; I've beaten the entire game, both Sora's story and Reverse Rebirth. It unveils a lot of interesting facts. I suggest you return to the Ansem Report; we're a carrier of a lot of information, and there are still open spots for new people to work for the site, since we're in the process of getting back on our feet again.

I forget specifically how it goes, but I remember that on the last set, it's easiest to forego the combos (uses up too much time) and use single, surgical hits. Also try and hit other barrels with ones that you knock back.

I really like Kingdom Hearts (play it at my friend's house, since I don't own a console), but I wish that there was some way to skip the opening cutscenes; I don't like having to watch the whole thing over again every time I start a new game.

I had trouble with that one. Remember to NEVER have vortex equipped on that level! ALWAYS messed me up till I took it off.

Yeah, and don't be afraid to experiment with different ways of getting around (but you've probably already tried). You may find ways to shave seconds off your time. Hope we helped, and good luck barrel-bashing.

The barrel bashing is easily one of the easiest parts of the game; if you have problems with that, I don't think you'll ever be able to handle the secret bosses, such as Kurt Zisa, Phantom, and Sephiroth.

I just don't even try with those bosses...too hard for me.

I'm at like lvl 70 or so too.

I don't think he has fighting issues, just a little trouble getting it in time. I had to try a few times on the last level to get under the required time; cut the guy some slack.

You're right; I too had some problems with the time at first. Though even the secret bosses are easy if you know what you're doing.

I ran around in circles for a day and then suddenly figured out that I beat the world.
