So far, it seems like every topic here has dealt with four issues;

1. Religion bashing
2. Anti-religion bashing
3. Bush Bashing
4. Rumsfeld bashing

This is an appeal to all, please, find new topics. I'd like to debate you, but no one debates, they just flame.

The religious arguments have really been annoying. How do you insult one's faith? If they choose to believe, let them believe, and if they choose not to, let them not believe. Faith is a very personal thing that people have to square with by themselves. I'm not about to try and convince anyone my way is right unless they ask me to.

As for the Bush bashing... It's just getting dull. Look, you've bashed the guy for four years and he still won re-election by a pretty large margin. Your petty little arguments are not going to get him thrown out. They're only angering his supporters into voting in record numbers.

And the Rumsfeld bashing is just unfair and uncalled for. Come on, folks, he has a really tough job and he's doing an excellent job, so leave him alone.

If Rummy can't take the heat, he oughtta get the hell out of the kitchen. He's a political appointee - precisely the last sort of person we should take pity on, or 'leave alone'. As to how he's doing his job, well - I don't think you'd have much patience for how he's doing his job if he was working for you...and when you think about it, that's exactly what he's doing, working for you...
