I've noticed almost every one one these forums are jerks instead of making intellegent responses are stating thee point of view instead they just bash others views with no real evidence to back them up, or they just call them a troll over and over again
Next thing every fourm always ends up ,no matter what the start was, bashing christians views (generaly or it ends up hypocriticle christians bashing other views), or talking about evolution, or abortion.
I know i fall victim to these things infact i rarley ever have fact to back up what i say but it still gets on my nervs when other people do it i know its hypocritical but hey im just as human as the next guy
and yes i know i cant spell

I agree with most of what you said. As for the bashing christian stuff, I would aslo agree, but you have to take into account in the U.S. you can't really have an issue without having thwe Official Christian View on it, which kind of naturally leads to threads bashing Christians. There's a lot of people who don't believe in the same things and when a group tries to pass a law over anything they disagree with it tends to piss people off. I don't think American bhuddists have the same type of sway the American Christians do.

Well, you've sterotyped NS.
Christians like to bash atheists, atheists bash back. And well all ove each other in that plutonic, non-erotic, I love my dog sort of way.

well Kevin...its ok- they stopped giving out the Nation States Spelling Award last year. As long as you spell the words phonetically, maybe we can figure it out. ;)
Nonetheless- welcome to NS

I believe that a real Christian does not make a show of thier faith but they are not ashamed of thier faith. They can tell you what they think but it's up to the one they are speaking to what to make of it. As for religion mixed in with politics, it's ugly. I just notice that while a lot of groups are blaming the bringing in of religion into an issue, the complaining party also brings in thier faith as a weapon. Makes me wonder why we can't just compromise so everyone's happy. Someone will always be unhappy but at least the majority will speak for it.

The problem being a majority of the U.S. is Christian, and we are seeing the ramifications of that in a lot of the laws being passed.

The original poster does have a good point, as can be noted from this:

So good work, Kevin's Pants/Girlfriend. Try to get some nose plugs quickly, the smell of dead horse gets pretty bad.

This is forum commentary. Not the traditional Christian/non-Christian barricade we know and hate.

I'd like to take this time to mention I'm agnostic, a believer in evolution, and pro-life.
Oh, and anyone who disagrees with my views is wrong. That too.

I'll keep saying what I've said all along. As long as my Christian brothers and sisters insist on the "Because we're right we have to insult you" mindframe, Christianity will always damage itself. Until we realize that telling someone they're going to hell is going to make them turn against us. we need to be welcoming of people and be examples of God's love, not condemn them into gainsay.
