Finally!

After weeks of tax cuts, my tax rate has now dropped below 100%. My citizens now get to keep 3% of their wagepacket, with pride.

don't be so happy.
it could be harder to stay in that tax rate, than back to 100%.

I don't want to stay on 97% - I was a psychotic dictatorship, then had a revolution, and am now very very capitalist. Hence this is not yet enough. I will not stop until all tax has been abolished.

How, pray tell? There don't seem to be any issues about lowering taxes. :(

Yes there are. Just choose the "least-government-spending" option all the time. Dismiss if all increase spending

And never increase government spending, because that will always put taxes back up again.

To get me to psychotic dictatorship I kept choosing the "ban-everything" option :D

I wanted to avoid my taxes going to 100%. They got to 97%, then I started dropping them like mad. I'm now around 60%, and it took me over a month to do it. However I now have 0% on both Defence and Healthcare budgets.

You occasionally get issues like "Budget time, accountant existed" with the last option being a libertarian telling you to lower taxes. Also if you have 100% tax you will occasionally get the issue saying that the population is upset that everything is taxed where you can lower the tax.

I'm an inoffencive centralist democracy, I aim to keep the taxs below 10% but low on crime. Which I find quite hard.

So well done, getting to 100% and a speedy recovery from your uprising.

Yeah, my psychotic dictator was an ultra-religious nut who only cared about the state of the environment. His name was Colin, and he called himself the Supreme Spiritual Leader of The Nation.

I think my current CEO is called Harriet someoneorother and she's leader of the Industrial Party. I'm slowly getting there.
