An age old question...
The infamous glass... half-full? Half-empty? What's the deal?

It is insufficiently full to satisfy my thirst fully, but beats the heck out of nothing.

if it was full, and i just drank half of it, then its half empty
if it was empty, and i just put sometthing in, then its half full
if its supposed to be full, but only got to the halfway mark, then either the glass is twice as big as it needs to be, or you had better get to the store, and buy a little more of whatever it is thats filling it - or your guests will leave and youll be lonely. :)

If you put two half-something glasses together, you have a full one, so it's half-full.
If it was half empty the water would have to magicly disappear
It's both... ooh .... cosmic!

That's water!?!
Looking at the poll results most people are quite logical, which is encouraging. Then again this is the internet (innernet) so the votes are probably just a little bit skewed.
