I don't think there's one single determining factor. More of a mix, I would say.(I know... I'm not really helping your poll...sorry about that :))

Intelligence, followed by sense of humor with religious views lagging way behind.

I agree, its a mix of all things.

It doesnt matter to me what color or creed someone is, and it doesnt matter how much money they make (or for that matter dont make), it shouldnt matter where they live or even how old they are - love works in mysterious ways, and I think that to deny yourself love based on anything as superficial as looks or anything else for that matter would be a complete mistake. That said, I do think that appearance is important, but it only opens the door. Honesty is one thing that I really value, virtue and a good personality as well. A person should have a good sense of humor, and they should genuinely interest you. I think that they have to be exciting to be with physically and emotionally, and also they have to provide a challenge - love should never be easy. However, at the same time, it shouldnt ever be a question about 'if' you love someone, only a question of how much and is it enough. The only problem I have with this is that I dont really look for girlfriends so much as let things happen as they might. Id rather something come about organically than force it (though sometimes I want things to happen so bad I trip myself up on that one). Wow, I hope that wasnt too confusing to read... :)

It's not like going to the supermarket. You don't go around comparing relative qualities of boys or girls. You meet, you have a connection, there's chemistry, you date.
