ok i know this has been attempted before but i would like to try again.

I am an evolutionist, i beleive this is how were became this way.

I cannot tell you what started all this, i could be a great being that made the frist one celled creatures, but all in all evolution was brought us you what we are now.
as mutations in DNA and RNA formed is caused unexpected changes in the animal/plant/whatever some failed and died off others were improvments and lived on, over untold years they diversified to find natural rungs in the ladder of an ecosytem, some eveidence of this is the similarities of DNA with us and Homo Habilis, and similar but diferent DNA with Homo Habilis and Neandertal, where Homo Habilis is the parent of the two forms on Humans, but we cannot be linked through DNA to Neandertal, to me this is enough to prove that evolution takes place.

although, as i said before, that i cannot say where this all started, i cannot disprove creationists are wrong because it is a handy way to prove the start of this whole thing.

now what i would like to know is what creationists beleive and how it works, do not try to debunk mine please, i just want to hear your side, how it works and some evidence, thats it. it can be as smiple as mine, but please try not to use the bible bacause it was created by men, not god, and with that in mind it could be wrong, not saying that is, but lacking in other sources is easily dismisted as conculive evidence

And to all the others that will say their two cents worth, dont bash them. they have a right to veiw the world through their own eyes even if we dissagree with them. i would like some intelligent dissucution not a pissing contest.

Its hard to provide a belief structure without trying to debunk yours … the usual reason (and most don’t consciously do this)

But essentially religion is used to explain things that are the outside of the realm of physical science (e.g. “Why” are we here … so on so forth)

If something is known to be true generally you don’t try to explain the same thing with religious beliefs

E.g. hard to explain why fire is hot by using a god figure to actually explain the heat (eg the temp is high because god is mad at you)

Or why weather is the way it is

These things used to be explained by religious beliefs when we did not know how to test them and figure out truths

So the simple answer is they can only hold onto their beliefs as long as they can question evidence or conclusions … but eventually the overwhelming amount of evidence will be there that they will move on to something else to try to explain
