Cliche: Blind or Deaf
This is such an old, stupid, question --- and I'm sure there's already a thread or two on it --- but still, which would you rather be?
Even though I'm a [visual] artist, I often times think I'd rather be blind than deaf.

It depends. Right now, even though I'm in animation, I'd say blind, because I'm a music junkie. But, that's only provided that I can retain a certain image of exquisite beauty until my dying day.
Yep, the 80s music thread inspired me to make this. :p
I'll take any answer that involves saying damnit. That I will.
Deaf, since most things I do are sight-dependant(plus I'm nearsighted already, so I'll stick with one minor eye problem thankyouverymuch), and I think that most places are too loud anyway. Sure, it'd be a bit of a problem seeing as I play the violin, am in the school choir, and love music, but I think I could work around that somehow.

Deaf, no doubt about it.
I would rather see everyone and know what colors are and what everything looks like, than be blind and live in total darkness all the time. Besides, I would still be able to learn how to talk, there are lots of high-tech hearing aids that would help me hear just a little bit, and I could always use sign language to communicate.
