what will you do in the money?
do you had already ways to spend all the money?
if not, the forum could give you ideas, or ask for his porpuse.
feel free to imagine, this is a lot of cash.

first I'll buy a part ownership with the Toronto Maple Leafs and watch every single game they play from now until my life ends. Then I'll get myself a helicopter. Then I'll buy my way to becoming a consultant for Hasbro's toymaking division, and make some of the coolest damned Transformers. Finally, I'll give plenty to my friends, and make my enemies do humiliating things for fifty dollar bills.

That aside, I'd probably do some stock trading, make some more money, then buy a private island. w00tness!

I'd put half in a high interest account and use the interest for charitable causes. The rest; I'd like to own an Island.

I agree a billion can buy a lot of BS, but in terms of world affairs its really a drop in the bucket, well maybe a little more than that - it's good starting money.

If the world is at war(has been the case for a long time now) buy a few arms & defense corporations - Buy a few airline companies with international reach - invest the rest in med. to highrisk enterprises. Oh yeah and I'd definitly need my own jet and helicopter on every continent I freaquent and maybe a palace somewhere - one thatll make Sadaam look like the poor bastard he really was. :D

first, you should buy an army, and maybe some nukes. then, you could take some countries in USA.
then, you could start elections compaign.
then, you elected.
at last, you be the president of USA and you could start facist state.
that way you get control on all the large companies, and you 1 bilion dollar, will become more than 200 bilion dollars!!!
and then, you just need to sit down, and think what you will do in the money.

Buy a house, (Queendslander/Federation style building) and build myself a resteraunt then (I'd like to think so anyway) give the rest away. Of course I'm only human and would probably be greedy and despite what I say just waste it all on beer and beer nuts.

If price, I guess I'm totally screwed. There's no way I'd ever pay off that much money, so I'd live with absolutely no thought for the future.

If prize, I would buy a small island, build a castle and colleseum and hire a whole lot of strippers and porn stars (female of course) to re-enact famous historical battles in scanty, yet historically accurate, g-strings and armour (as much as they can be).

Kidding! I'd donate $750mil to various charities and keep the other $250mil for yachts, shoes and dre...I mean, yachts, trainers and jeans. And good food. And a $10mil dollar house. ANd possibly put some investments into scientific research
