I have come to realize that i hate everything about this gross, abhorent culture. I hate its hypocrisy and its non-stop flow of meaningless garbage that is forced into our minds. It is a gross, horrible cycle of unhappiness and hate that is feed to us on a platter of false bullshit.

I fucking hate MTV and Reality TV and fucking ADVERTISEMENTS ruining our youth and culture. I hate the motherfuckers that sit in their CEO board meetings and figure out next how to best exploite my age group. How to force my peers to feel inadequate about themselves: how to feel shitty enough about themselves to buy all their bullshit so some asshole get get a couple extra million dollars. These people are largely responsibly for the rape of the teenage mind; the vast sea of prescription pills, anerexia, and suicide.

I fucking hate the mock democracy that our forefather's set up. The corruption of the system, the capitalistic selling of votes to the prettiest face and best liar. Something is wrong with it, just wrong.

I fucking hate the murderous fucks called terrorists, i fucking hate the lying bastards called politians, i fucking hate the degenerate fucks called CEOs. I hate school and the false sense of "accomplishment" and false expectations to live "the good life". I hate the day by day imprisionment called learning. Learning what? wasting 20 of the best years of my life submitting myself to idiots and rejects.

I hate the morality that my culture produced in my brain, so that i see violence and its ok, but the beauty of a women is not. Where i can be sent to kill and be killed, but cannot drink alcohol, do drugs, or have a loving relationship. Where my 13 year old sister is laughing hysterically at a movie which portrays the mass murder of people, or where myself find another's pain laughable.

Where my friend's girlfriend stops eating because her disgusting, immoral father (who actually deserves death) does nothing but ridicule her-- so without that moral support she turns to the next best (actually worst) outlet- the media. And what does the media feed her? a beautiful blonde with a perfect body, which she can never become, and because she can never be that- she constantly feels inadequate and therefore... stops eating.

God, i dont know what to say. I dont know what would be better then this, i dont know any solutions. All i know is that this culture is very wrong, its so very wrong.

We should not submit to dehumanization. I don't know about you, but I'm concerned about what's happening in this world. I'm concerned with the structure. I'm concerned with the systems of control. Those that control my life and those that seek to control it even more. I want freedom. That's what I want. And that's what you should want.

It's up to each and every one of us to turn loose of just some of the greed, the hatred, the envy, and yes, the insecurities, because that is the central mode of control: make us feel pathetic, small, so we'll willingly give up our sovereignty, our liberty, our destiny. We have got to realize that we're being conditioned on a mass scale. Start challenging this corporate slave state.

The 21st Century's gonna be a new century; not the century of slavery, not the century of lies and issues of no significance, and classism and statism, and all the rest of the modes of control. It's gonna be the age of human kind, standing up for something pure, and something right.

What a bunch of garbage: liberal, Democrat, conservative, Republican. It's all there to control you: two sides of the same coin. Two management teams bidding for control of the CEO job of Slavery, Incorporated. The truth is out there in front of you, but they lay out this buffet of lies. I'm sick of it, and I'm not going to take a bite out of it. Do you got me?

Resistance is not futile. We're gonna win this thing. Human kind is too good. We're not a bunch of underachievers. We're gonna stand up and we're gonna be human beings. We're gonna get fired up about the real things, the things that matter: Creativity and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

From the looks of it, Kisarazu, you should become a Thailandese Buddhist Monk when you grow up, because it looks like someone needs to find inner peace. Think about it, you will do away with all the burdens of daily life in the western world and devote yourself to nothing but helping others and finding your inner peace, not to mention becoming another person. You should at least look into it(but DON'T become a Christian Monk. They always end up fat on fancy wines and stuff. Buddhist monks rarely eat more than rice.)

A few places. The Mayan calendar, which has been known to be incredibly accurate, suddenly stops at what is equivalent to December something of 2012. Also, I saw a show on the Bible Codes, all of which seemed pretty inconclusive to me, but, it also mentioned the end of days to be December something of 2012. And a map of the world that I had in my room fell down when they announced that on the tv. Creepy!
I don't really, necessarily believe it, or live in fear, because there's really nothing I can do to change it, so, whatever! Another thing to consider is that the "End of Days" isn't necessarily the end of the world, it just means that life won't continue on as it has. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Find a wooded area to walk in, adopt a dog, they are amazing listeners, find someone you like and have sex with them, go to the library and find a nice book, smile at old people.

Also, I saw a show on the Bible Codes, all of which seemed pretty inconclusive to me, but, it also mentioned the end of days to be December something of 2012. And a map of the world that I had in my room fell down when they announced that on the tv. Creepy!
I don't really, necessarily believe it, or live in fear, because there's really nothing I can do to change it, so, whatever! Another thing to consider is that the "End of Days" isn't necessarily the end of the world, it just means that life won't continue on as it has. Not necessarily a bad thing.

First off, I sympathize with you. It is import to distinguish between our present society and society and civilization in general. Civilization, not specifying any one particular one, but civilization in general is needed, as is a society.

However, the problem with our current one is not consumerism, capitalism, and control. It is injust consumerism, injust capitalism, and injust control. What makes it injust? That the control is not controlled.

The paradigm of liberal democracy can be expanded to economic structures and social structures. It is not a true democracy unless you have economic democracy and social democracy. However, it is important to note that in a democracy, there are winners and losers. However, in a liberal democracy, the loser doesn't lose all of their rights. Hence, Welfare Capitalism (Social nets of Socialism, free enterprise of capitalism) is the best economic system, assuming the capital is widely spread enough. Quoting G.K. Chesterson, "The problem with capitalism is that there are not enough capitalists." (I'm not advocating distributism, however, though it may sound like that) With capital so narrowly distributed, even in a welfare capitalist economy, you cannot have economic democracy. There will be those having more than others, yes, but it won't be much more, and everyone will be able to start their own small business and make a good living and all- if they want to. There will always be those who don't, and they will choose to work for small businesses.

Social power is derived from economic power. The democratization of economic power would inevitably lead to the democratization of social power, assuming technologies such as the Internet are widespread. i know that as a 21 year old, i hate beign grouped in with the "millenials" who are the fucktards listening to britney spears and all that shit. people my age shoudl get a different grouping as we can still remember when saturday morning cartoons used to be good, when sesame street wasn't all about elmo and ravers on acid, when 90% of the toys didn't walk, talk or suck on a bottle and you had to pretend that they did all that. when the computers had those rolly balls instead of mice and the only personal computer out there was the commodore 64, which one kid in your class had and bragged about all the time. (oddly enough, this same kid had the same computer in highschool and bitched about it all the time) the group of people who were starting to realise what was going on when nirvana was around, and green day was starting to become more important. back when you didn't have to be able to dance to the songs at school dances in order for the songs to get played... people old enough to realise that new rock and new metal is shit and that the pop princesses don't sing their own songs for the most part, nor are they really someone to look up to unless you aspire to do relativly little and earn truckloads of money before you're 30. i don't want to be grouped in with the idiots who are buying into that shit.

but anyways, if you don't like the stuff they're trying to sell you, don't buy it. turn off the television, or at least turn off mtv (much isn't as bad yet, but it's close now) turn off the overly commercialized radio station, find a college station, a jazz station, classic rock, find something where someone is playing shit that doesn't suck. just do your own thing and to hell with whatever everyone is trying to sell you. i'm not saying aviod the things you like that they're trying to convince you to buy. if you like it, then buy it. if you don't then fuck 'em all.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who thinks that the sky isn't falling. What is so comforting about believing in some mystical underground war-room with high-backed chairs and evil laughs? The Man isn't out to put you down, or force you to buy Goldbond medicated foot powder.

You can do what you want to. For me, I find that the power of creation in engineering is extremely satisfying. Add in a healthy dose of Christianity, and I'm about as fine as can be. I'm not saying this is the road for everybody, but if you just find what works for you, you'll be ok. Everybody has a void or a hole in themselves. I fill it with religion. You might fill it with art or music. Just don't fill it with White Castle. It takes a bit of self discipline, but eventually you won't be frittering away your time here looking for something- anything- to take your mind off the fact that you don't know where you're going or what you're looking for.

Just create something. Do something positive. Write. Read. Talk. It ALWAYS feels like culture is going to the dogs. It's not. You just need to find something or somebody to love.
