I am not going to bother making a poll for this thread. No point really.

Who are your favorite emo bands? And I am talking real emo, not some crap like John Mayer or Taking Back Sunday. I mean the real emo, part of the hardcore genre. Some of you might refer to it as "screamo" but that term will not be used here. God damn hoodlums. :)

Here are my personal favorites: I Hate Myself, Saetia, Cursive, Boys Life, Sunny Day Real Estate.

NOTE: Some of these will fall into the hardcore range but I think that is acceptable.

I know but I use the original term. I don't like the new classification. The term came up because of people misusing "emo" for their crappy music.

There has to be more than one person on this forum...
