Funny thing. We had a big storm which went all biblical and knocked out all power to part of my city of Darwin and the entire city of Palmerston (in Australia). Now the power outage was a few hours, but power is normally restored in 1 hour. Why so long to restore power? Major damage ... no. Something exploded and took out something important ... no. The backup system failed totally which is suppose to kick in when mains power failed.
Don't you love it when the backup systems makes things worse ...
