Who locked the "middle class socialists" thread?

And why? Did I miss something aggrevious? Just wondering.

I think it has something to do with trolling not being allowed. Just a hunch.

Apparently, fun has been banned.

You know, "trolling" is a rather subjective word. I guess that's where the mods come in. It's their interpretation that rules.
Again, I think I missed something.

No, it was definitely trolling. Making outrageous statements you don't believe, with the intention of winding people up is the epitome of trolling. Or, at least, that's the way I understand it.

So, what's the difference between a 'troll' and a 'joke?'
Is there a certain point at which something is beyond trolling because it's so absolutely preposterous that no one can possibly take it seriously?
And what happend to just deleting the offensive post? I thought the mods could do that.

That was my thought too. I was wrong. :(
I think that goed guy grassed me up.

That's the problem, particularly on this board. There are too many idiots who either actually think like that or think you're serious. I think on this occasion, though, it wasn't obvious, until maybe the last couple of pages (because I joined in, and can't help making it ridiculous), that Lac didn't actually mean it.

I think the answers to these questions, as well as your original, thread-title question could easily be answered by the mod who did it in the "Moderation" forum. If memory serves, there are several stickies which provide the mods' definitions for certain types of "forbidden" behavior.
You should post a thread there, if you haven't already done so, and include a link to this'n. It might take a while, though: even in "Moderation", mods tend to take a while to get back to you.

Yes. Well, as long as no one has any fun, that is the main thing.
