I am currently at work, and enjoying a bit of vodka. (I don't drive at work or operate any heavy machinery, nor am I getting so drunk I am incapable of doing my job.) What are your opinions of drinking on the job?

Yes, I'm a tea toteler... I have a moral problem with drinking, but I don't really believe that should enter the legal forum. However, anything criminal one does while intoxicated should be punished as severely if not more severely than for some one who is sober.

I believe one owes their employer the best work they can give. Even one drink has an effect so I don't think it should be allowed at all. After all, they are essentially buying your services, you should give them what they pay for.

Besides, then you can drink more at the bar after hours.

I quit doing acid waaaay back. That stuff was making me lose touch with reality. Probably because I was doing it on a weekly basis most of the time, and more often some of the time.
