I know there have been plenty of threads dedicated to "what if..." questions regarding history. Many people gave some very interesting responses. So, here are some questions of my own:
.What if the National Party had lost the 1948 election in South Africa?
.What if John F. Kennedy had supported Laos's prime minister Boun Oum?
.What if John Hinckley, Jr.'s assassination attempt on Reagan had been successful?
.What if the 1973 coup in Chile had failed?
.What if George Wallace had won the 1968 or 1972 U.S. presidential election?
.What if (cliche' alert! cliche' alert!) Al Gore had been President during 9/11?
.What if Clinton had been successfully impeached?
