It probably just won't complete downloading and then your computer will run slower.

You know, I'm not sure how it's possible that you only have 246 MB of RAM, but that's really not enough for a modern computer. I suggest an upgrade. 512 is really a minimum. It's cheap enough now, go ahead and spring for the upgrade.

Huh? 246 ram? You must have 256mb, I would just suggest buying another stick of RAM, PC 2700 RAM is pretty cheap....

Is their anything I can uninstall to get more? I just bought the thing last year (03) from Wal-Mart. How much will an upgrade cost? And where can I get it?

It'll either not work at all, not install at all, or run like a puppet show with parkinsons. Definitely not playable.

Not unless he has some odd combination of RAM.

RAM is cheap, a gig for 30$ or so. Make sure your motherboard can handle it though.

Well first determine what type of ram you have. I bet you have PC 2700 ram, but find your receipt and make sure.

Any computer place will sell ram, For a stick of 256mb PC2700 ram dont pay more than 50 USD. Its really easy to install RAM, just google instructions...

It will most likely install, but not run properly, or not at all. You can buy a decent 256k RAM chip for around 20 to 40 dollars online, and then install it yourself with little difficulty. buying a RAM upgrade would definately be worth it, because not only will you be able to run your new game, but it will increase the speed of your other programmes as well.

I agree with Abomination. The game isn't worth playing without the the proper hardware. Go spend a little pocket change and get the upgrades.

you are assuming he is running DDR

Also assuming that he is already running 2700 (you have to match usualy ... depending on chipset)

Anyways I would give it a shot ...

(also can have 246 if it is doing something like sharing ram with the vid card ... happens in laptops a lot)

if it is a laptop the update is different ... you have to go to SO ram

I would just try it ... may be slow but that can be solved with an upgrade

You can probably install it. But you won't be able to play it. Upgrade your memory.
