I fell in love with Coupling a couple of years ago. Can't wait for season four on dvd so I can see it.

Red Dwarf is a classic, as is anything with the fellows from Monty Python in it.

Yay Coupling! I have always been a great Monty Python fan, but have just recently been able to get into more British television series, and I love them. Coupling and AbFab definitely need to be added to the list. To Americans: PLEASE don't watch the American version of Coupling and think it sucks. Make sure you get the genuine British one.

Ive never seen coupling, but I trust you Tigg, anyone who is a fan of tigers can be trusted!! :D

the last three of the five listed are all good. I would also include Brittas Empire, Yes Minister/Prime Minister, The Young Ones, Monty Python, and Bottom.

I'm surprised no-one's mentioned The Office yet

My favourite Brit comedy was the Piglet Files. Other greats are Red Dwarf (although that last season wasn't as good), the Yes Minister/Prime Minister series, and of course Chef!
