Those threads are the most fun. Some people are just incapable of understanding their opponents' arguments, and they provide most of the entertainment here.

I was thinking more of the massive number of people who have less than 20 posts who have sprung up out of nowhere. Most people have pretty much figured out the board beyond about 100 posts, I reckon.

Most people ignore them, but a few brave souls choose to engage them in honest debate. Those poor bastards usually give up after about 10 pages or so. Most of the time, the threads started by the Nazinoobs consist of one person writing a treatise on Zionism and the rest of them patting his back.

Just because I'm prolific in my posting. I've only been here a couple of weeks. Of course, it's easy for me to post a lot here. Religion and philosophy of life which ties in to politics are 2 of my fav. subjects and I get very little opportunity to discuss them with the depth or diversity of perspectives I've found here.

It would be nice if some people were more tolerent of others ideas, but by and large I've been happy to be here. :D

I'd say they run into some pretty talented and relentless debaters here. They really don't stand much of a chance, I suspect.

It's amazing that, no matter how ridiculous a statement I make, no matter how hard I try to make it obvious that I'm joking, someone thinks I'm being serious and starts flaming me.

Well, being a "religious nut" myself, I'll have to be cautious about not taking your baiting to seriously. I do have very strong beliefs, but I am at least willing to listen to other ideas and arguments. I prefer tolerance. People are entitled to believe what they chose, even when I disagree. From a "Christian" perspective, we're all fallible, so it is certainly possible that my understanding of life, God, the universe, is less than perfect.
