I couldnt agree more, I recently met someone from a similar situation, and words cannot describe the travesty of what would have been. People need to really think about who they end up with, and make a descision from the heart. This goes beyond the borders of traditional thought - love is love, and nothing besides. I want to be with someone that I can wake up beside in the morning, not caring how old weve gotten, or how out of touch with reality we become - just to be satisfied with holding them - and be damned with everything else in the world if it doesnt agree with that.

Exactly! A person changes so much between the ages of 19 and 30. I'm not saying that couples who marry young are doomed, but when you wait to get married, you have a better chance to get every SINGLE thing done you want to get done before you get married. I wasn't exactly happy in all the relationships I was in before I met my husband, but I don't regret any of them, because whether they were good or bad, they all taught me something and made me a stronger person. Time and Age. Not that I don't still have the same attributes I had at 20, I simply got over the idea of needing several miscellaneous and decided to go for a single expression that can be built over time.

As a married person, I can attest:

1] The sex is 1000x better than it ever was when I was single because I have now had time to really explore a single partner.

2] The sex is more frequent than it ever was when single.

3] Trust and loyalty far outweigh conquest.

Ohhh gosh...let me tell you.....I was engaged when I was 18 and it would have been the WORST mistake of my life to marry someone when I was that young. The best thing I ever did was realize that I had so much more to experience and it would best be done without a wedding ring on my finger. Take TG's advice, don't ever settle, its the worst feeling in the world to think about what you could have been doing....
